November/December 2009
We've been planning a pretty big trip for some time now, sort of a necessity in our eyes before we started thinking about some little kiddos. Needless to say it was phenomenal and we have so many amazing memories. I am in no way a history buff, but seeing all of it in person was a whole different story. Some of the sites were: The Vatican Museum where the Sistine Chapel is breathtaking, Pantheon and Colosseum in Rome, the Parthenon in Athens, the ruins in Ephesus, Turkey, the Great Pyramids and Sphinx in Egypt, and all of Malta. Things you've heard about all of your life, but pictures did no justice to. For example, the Great Pyramids are sky scapers, who would have known their intensity or how it would feel to walk in Ephesus where Paul and John were, and to run your fingers over Marble that was carved thousands of years ago? We are so glad we did it and are now able to move into a new part of our lives.
